Here at the Town Hall the Wedding season is truly underway and we are very busy throughout the rest of this year. We are currently in the planning stages with many of our couples and also taking new bookings for 2014.

We wanted to share one our most recent Weddings….
We first met Lyndsay and her mum 2 months prior to her actual wedding day, at the first meeting we had with her she was unsure about what she wanted to do after the ceremony. We showed Lyndsay and her mum our stunning Grade 1 listed reception suite and she instantly fell in love with the grandeur of the rooms. We then talked through a number of options for her to consider which immediately put her at ease, she discussed these with her husband to be and as a result of our advice and expertise they booked their wedding with us the very next day and the planning process began.
It is important to us to fully understand every bride and grooms specific requirements. As part of our personal service, we met with them regularly, along with the Chef and Front of House Manager. At the Town Hall we pride ourselves in getting to know the couple so we can build a clear understanding of the kind of wedding experience they are looking for.
The chairs were covered by Opulent venue styling; http://www.opulentvenuestyling.co.uk, Lynsday chose the colours of the sash to match the colour scheme of the rooms. The flowers on the tables and the bouquets were made by Abbey at Floral Magic: http://www.floral-magic.co.uk. We work with both suppliers for most of our weddings. The chair covers and flowers just added the finishing touches and the Mirror room looked amazing.
On the day, Lyndsay arrived and looked radiant in her beautiful lace wedding dress but was very nervous. We provided support and reassurance throughout the day. We received many compliments from the couple and their guests about the food, venue, staff and ambiance.

Thank you so much for a perfectly running day, I get really nervous and it was lovely having you guys there for support. You and your team have been more than helpful, the food was lovely and the room looked fabulous and the front of house staff were lovely too. We would definitely recommend you to other people who would like to get married, I felt our wedding event was very personal thanks to you guys.
